FRUSTRATED WITH FURRY FIGURE ?? LOSE WITH THE LIGHT
Be it anything, only if it is in the right place & right amount it is valued likewise is hair at pravit we provide the safe & effective hair reduction laser, say no to the painful waxing, say yes to the smooth hair free skin you will fail for find the unwanted.
Epilation by laser was performed experimentally for about 20 years before it became commercially available in the mid-1970s. The various lasers and light sources used commonly are Diode, Nd: YAG & IPL devices. The laser works best with dark coarse hair, Light skin and dark hair are an ideal combination, but new lasers are now able to target dark black hair even in patients with dark skin.
Laser light is converted to heat as it passes through the skin the heat is absorbed by dark pigment ( melanin ) in the hair follicle. Heat damages the hair follicle & inhibits the growth of new hair. Safe & effective for all skin types, No pain – no scars – no downtime, Minimum 6 sessions at one monthly interval required for the best results, Results may vary with skin type, hair texture and site.
Traditional methods like threading, waxing, shaving, depilating creams targets only the visible portion of hair seen outside the skin. Laser is the only procedure that targets the hair root no downtime. minimal discomfort can resume your activities soon after the procedure no scars – no pigmentation.
There are 3 different stages in the life cycle of hair:
1. Anagen – growing phase
2. Catagen – resting phase
3. Telogen- shedding phase
At any given time about 85% of the hairs are in a growing phase (anagen) stem cells are abundant in the anagen phase. these stem cells multiply and cause hair growth laser light affects only these anagen hairs during anagen phase the hair follicle lies close underneath the skin thereby the laser light easily gets absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle, (without affecting the surrounding skin) transmits the light into heat to stem cells in the root, destroys the stem cells by overheating the hair follicle thereby no new hairs are produced.
Number of sessions depends on the patient’s skin type, hair texture and hair colour in minimum of 8 sessions are required for the best results hair follicles that absorb the laser will never grow back some follicles will go dormant & get reactivated as we age or due to hormonal fluctuations but even these reactivated hair follicles will be lighter, finer and very thin.
Laser can affect only the hairs in the anagen phase time is needed for hairs in the catagen & telogen phase to move into the anagen phase thereby requiring multiple sessions
With every session of the laser, the hair thickness gradually decreases soon after laser there would be temporary hair shedding within 10-15days. the anagen hairs are affected but the catagen & telogen hairs escapes, which when cycles to anagen phase regrow. This regrowing can occur within interlaser interval ( between the undertaken session and the next scheduled session) hence hairs will be visible in between the sessions but certainly, these regrown hairs will be finer & thinner than the pretreatment hairs.
There is really no age limit but we never treat children less than 15 years until otherwise there is a compelling indication. There is no fixed upper age limit as some patients even after 55 years have nil grey hairs whereas some patient gets grey hairs even at 30 years. People with grey hair will not respond to laser because the hair is devoid of the dark pigment melanin which absorbs & transmits the laser light.
There is only a little discomfort compared to waxing, threading the procedure is painless except for a mild stingy sensation or little pinch feel which is very well tolerable Stress, fatigue, caffeine, your menstrual cycle and pain tolerance may also influence the level of comfort — or discomfort — that you feel. However, pain tolerability varies from person to person in case if you are worried or not comfortable we do apply a numbing cream 20-30 minutes prior to the procedure.

Heredity and ethnic background constitute the primary causes of hair growth. Superfluous or excessive hair growth in women often results from normal biological changes that they undergo throughout life, such as puberty, pregnancy, menopause and old age. Anyone of these changes can increase hair growth in areas that never had hair before, or cause a small to moderate problem area to worsen. Other causes of hair growth can be associated with certain medications, stress and obesity.
More serious causes can be an abnormality in the endocrine system, such as irregular menstrual cycles ovarian disorders, such as Poly-cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and thyroid abnormalities. In such cases, it is always better to get evaluated and treat the underlying aetiology simultaneously with the laser treatment.
